He works actively with various colleges and clinical settings in dealing with different psychological concerns. He is involved in conducting talks and workshops on various psychological concerns for psychology students. He has also been featured on television and radio channels. He has written various books in psychology for psychology students and his articles are quite a regular feature in various newspapers and magazines. He strongly believes that educating and empowering professionals and creating awareness in the public will lead to mentally and physically healthy society, which is a pressing need in the present scenario.
Gagandeep Kaur is a M.Phil in clinical psychology from IHBAS Delhi University. She is a double gold medalist with the Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Presidential Gold Medal to her credit. She was a part of CBSE telephonic helpline panel that runs across India. She works actively in various school and clinical settings dealing with normal children and children with problems. She is involved in conducting talks and workshops on various psychological concerns for children, teachers and parents in schools and also on television and radio channels such as AajTak, Sahara, DD Bharti and AIR FM etc. She has written books such as ‘Exam Stress’ and her articles are quite a regular feature in various newspapers and magazines. She strongly believes that not only early identification and management but empowering children with different skills is very important. Her key interest area is in setting counselling systems for schools.
Dipika Patil is skilled child and adolescent counsellor with extensive counselling experience encompasses a range of issues. She possesses a flair for connecting with children, nurturing & fostering their development to their utmost potential. She also trains students, teachers and professionals in the same area. Her good command on language and culture like Marathi, Gujrati, Hindi and English enables her to serve a variety of population. She has developed emotional and behavioral strategies for students with physical, mental, and emotional challenges and also developed life skills modules for school students. She is an expert in conducting need based assessment & training with school and NGO staff. She has designed curriculum based measurement (CBS) to evaluate the Grade level of students. She conducts workshops on current issues like like gadget de-addiction, Inclusive education etc.
Ms. Raina, a teaching faculty and psychologist at Unique Institute of Behavioural Sciences, is a self-directed, enthusiastic, experienced and passionate educator who teaches by using an amalgamation of knowledge, technology and innovation. Her vast interest in various streams of human science, led her to a possession of varied degrees like post graduate degrees in both Clinical Psychology and Biochemistry, certification in Positive Psychology from IIT Madras, degree of B.Ed and also a qualification of several competitive exams like GATE (Biotechnology), B.Ed, CTET and Ph.D (Biosciences) from Jamia Milia Islamia. She has presented her research work titled as “The Study on Religiosity & Psychosocial adjustment of students in Modern & Gurukul Education System” at NACIACP, Chandigarh, 2020. Along with all this she has also qualified NET-JRF (Psychology) in July 2018 in her very first attempt. Her vision as a teacher is “To see my students grow within”.
Ms. Avni Atri is an epitome of liveliness. Avni is an enthusiastic psychologist and a faculty member at Unique Institute of Behavioural Sciences. She is highly motivated and passionate at her work with diverse range of interests as well as skills like the art of articulate expression which cater the needs of institute efficiently. While graduating in psychology from Dev Sanskriti VishwaVidyalaya, Haridwar, she has inculcated the practical knowledge of Indian perspectives in psychology such as yogic psychotherapies. With her post-graduation in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Lucknow, she walked the path further to serve the people in the area of Mental Health and Behaviour. She has got hands on experience while working as a psychology intern at RFS, Lucknow (An international Rehabilitation centre) and NIEPID, Hyderabad. She has also done internship at Unique Psychological Services, Delhi and won best intern award. She has also presented her research work titled “Correlational study of Nomophobia with metacognition and emotional states among university students” at an International Conference, ETTIC 2020. As a teacher, she understands the needs of her students well and guides them on their path. Her area of expertise includes psychopathology and research methodology. Ms Sonali Madan has completed her Masters in Applied Psychology from Mithibai College, Mumbai.She worked in the Human Resource department of a corporate sector, where she was responsible for the recruitment of employees. She has also actively worked in many schools for children with special needs and under privileged children.Her area of specialisation is special education. Her aim to help these children to develop their fullest potential to enable them to become self reliant and not only help them grow academically but also emotionally, by providing the required support and attention, so that they can lead a healthy and a happy life.
Ms. Trisha Walia is Honorary' NET qualified faculty at UIBS. She has done her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology Central Institute of Psychiatry( Ranchi). She pursued her Undergraduate degree at the University of Delhi and Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Jamia Milia Islamia. She had undergone extensive clinical experience, both in assessment and therapies. She has done extensive research in the area of social cognition especially understanding the emotional aspects thereby contributing in interpreting emotional situations in daily life. She is well trained with softwares like SPSS, MATLAB etc.
Dr. Priyanka is a MPhil in Clinical Psychology from Pt. B.D. Shrama University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and PHD from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. She received gold medals two times (M.Sc. and MPhil). She worked with National Mental Health Programme for 5 years, there she worked as member of disability board and provide psychotherapy to patients who came to hospital. After that, she joined Juvenile Justice Board as empanelled Clinical Psychologist and till date she is working with juvenile offender for their psychological assessments and take their counselling session to give them a better direction in coming future. She also conducts internship programme for psychology students. Apart from that, she indulges in delivering workshops to the postgraduate students of psychology as well as to children, staff and teachers in school settings. She joined UIBS as a teaching faculty. Her vision as a teacher “to promote learning”.
Ms. Meghna Solanki has a bachelor of science major in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. She has good command on Hindi, English and Gujarati language. She is a hard working, fast learner, excellent organizer. She has 4 years experience working in different organizations in Australia with different customer segments. She has the ability to to work individually and as part of a team. She also has extensive experience in working with people with disabilities. She likes to read books, play chess and run.
Ankit Theria is an energetic hard working and very sincere person. He has done his B.Com from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. He knows Hindi & English language. He has great interest in music, singing, and reading books. He is a good team player and can work with other team members cooperatively. He has the ability to complete the work in a time limit.
