The Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is the world’s first and only University dedicated to Forensic and allied Sciences. It was established by the Government of Gujarat through an act passed by the Gujarat Legislative Assembly dated 30th September, 2008 with an objective of fulfilling the acute shortage against increasing demand of forensic experts in the country and around the world. Evidently, the University became functional from July, 2009 onwards with various courses, scientific programs and training modules. The University was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as a State University under section 22 of UGC Act, 1956 to award degrees in May, 2011. It is located in the green and clean city of Gandhinagar which is the capital city of Gujarat state, a vibrant, industrious, safe and business friendly state of Indian sub-continent. The University offers masters of science programme in Forensic Psychology, Neuropsychology & Clinical Psychology.

M.Sc. Forensic Psychology
Admission will be given based on an Interview/Entrance (In case of entrance: Paper consisting of 50 MCQs of 100 marks from General Psychology, Forensic Psychology & Research Methods) conducted by GFSU. Merit list will be prepared with component weightage of 70% to Entrance/Interview examination and 30% to the aggregated marks at bachelor degree level. List of candidates selected/admitted will be displayed on the website.
Admissions will be based on the merits obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University and marks obtained in graduation in ratio of 60:40. The merit will be calculated as under- Graduation Marks: 40% weightage Entrance Examination Scores: 60% weightage.
Entrance Test: General Psychology, Neuropsychology and Research Method questions will be asked in the Entrance test. There will be 50 objective type questions of 100 marks, the duration of the test will be 60 minutes. There will be no negative marking.
M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology
Admissions will be based on the merits obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University.
