M.Phil Clinical Psychology is a specialised course offered by the Department of Clinical Psychology. The Department of Clinical Psychology at SOAHS Manipal was established in 2000 and provides mental health treatment in adolescent and adult mental health issues. The department is recognised by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Selection Process-

General, Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2019, A descriptive exam and subject interview conducted in the department anda general interview conducted at the University level. It is mandatory that all General and NRI candidates go through all these steps for admission.

Stipend:

No stipend will be paid by the University / Institutions for the said course.

Test Pattern:

Duration: 2 hours. It consists of 80 multiple choice questions (MCQ) carrying 80 marks. The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:

Research methods and statistics. – 10; Psychological assessment – 15; Psychiatry – 10; Neuropsychology -10; Social psychology – 10; Child and adolescent Psychology – 10, Psychotherapy –15.
